Tropez Salon Owner Journee Davis's life long vision was to create a salon that not only her clients would love, but was a well thought-out space to work in. She is passionate about her craft, taking every opportunity to learn and improve her skills. Journee was formally trained at Paul Mitchell Academy and has certificates and additional training from Vidal Sassoon, Nine Zero One, Habit Salon, NBR Extensions, Ramirez|Tran, and more.
Kellie Chambliss
Owner - Master Stylist
Kellie moved to Wilmington from Lake Tahoe in May of 2004 and says her life continues to amaze her. Over the years, she has traveled to beautiful places, added 3 young children to her family, accumulated an 85 lb dog, and most recently co-owns this beautiful salon in our sweet beach town. Her love of hair started at a young age when a family friend taught her to french braid her own hair and from then on has been practicing on any and everyone she knew, especially her younger sister. To Kellie, being a hairstylist is fun and rewarding; she lives for the look of happiness and pure joy on her client's faces after she has worked her magic! She strives to accentuate every client's natural beauty with color techniques or a stylish haircut. Kellie's specialties are balaylights, balayage, and french haircutting techniques!
Sabrina Dunlow

My name is Haley Sabrina, here at the salon I go by my middle name Sabrina! I’ve been at Tropez since 2019 and it has felt like home from the moment I walked in. I grew up in a small town a few hours from Wilmington. I started playing with hair and makeup from a young age so I was always the go-to gal doing it for every one of my friends when prom came around! It wasn’t until I was two years into college at East Carolina that I realized I actually had a pure, natural passion for doing hair. I have very nurturing yet creative characteristics about me, which made doing hair professionally one of the most rewarding career choices I could have possibly made. I absolutely love the thrill that comes along with learning new techniques, trends, and most importantly clients in the chair. I think your hair can make or break you- so I strive to go above and beyond to make sure you are completely satisfied and in awe when you leave! Outside of Tropez, you can find me making tasty vegan meals, painting, or spending time out and about with friends and family. If I’m really bored you can find me rearranging every room in my house until it feels fun and new.

I specialize in blondes, dimensional/ lived-in-balaylights, French haircuts, long men's haircuts & IBE extensions. My passion for hair goes beyond just the outcome, I enjoy the process; talking, laughing, and providing a great experience overall. I love using my talents to empower women & inspire confidence. Hi! My name is Elizabeth Harris, I am from Concord, NC. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2014 with a degree in Hospitality Management. However, My passion has always been hair. A few years ago after graduating, I decided to change career paths and finally follow my dreams of becoming a hairstylist. I graduated from Paul Mitchell in Charlotte and have been doing hair since. In August of 2022 my fiancé, myself and our two dogs, Brody (8 year old Maltese) and Fowler (8 year old chocolate lab) relocated to Wilmington. This is where I came across Tropez Salon on Instagram. I went the next week to see the salon and immediately knew that was where I wanted to be. I love the high-end, relaxed atmosphere at Tropez and feel extremely motivated to do what I love, blending, balayage, and lived-in color! I enjoy making women feel beautiful and building relationship with new clients every day!

Hi im Maria Chosa! I moved to Wilmington from Dallas, Texas. I love the laid back vibes of Wilmington and the relaxed glamor of Tropez! My goal in life has always been to make people, women especially, feel great about themselves! I’ve been on a journey looking for a career where I could best fulfill this goal and that’s when I came across hairstyling. When you love your hair you feel 1,000 times better no matter what’s going on. I love doing natural dimensional brunettes but I can slay a bright blonde beauty as well! The era of natural lived in color is here and I’m so for it! Let me help you feel beautiful!
